This Land is Our Land
With the issue of changing the residential area on 1000W in Orem to commercial, I only see one option. This land is our land. We, the citizens of this town, pay the taxes. If you want to build something there, create a nature center. A little beauty on that rugged hill wouldn't hurt a soul.
