Don't Follow the Money by David Brooks
The audience of the NY Times is vast. 740,007 Business Professionals, 796,060 Women, 893,825 Affluent Adults, all in the New York area read the New York Times Daily. Online readership nationally is on adverage 16,480,000 according to the nytimesaudience.com. THis plays a factor in how he approaches his audience. He thinks about what the nation is facing and digs a little deeper. He doesn't play side he unbiasly tells the political story how it is; due to the large audience he must. He wants you to think and understand what is going on with our country. His sardonic titles draw you in so you want to read what he has to say.

You have some great facts about your audience. I would just take that a step further and analyze how you are going to portray your thoughts to that audience.
ReplyDeleteI like this line, "He wants you to think and understand what is going on with our country." I like the quick and simple facts that you stated. I was slightly distracted by the minor typos like "adverage" and "THis" but as for the content of what you wrote, so far so good :) I like how you put into perspective the audience of the NY Times.
